He owns a career record of 229-65 (.779), with four state championships, two state runner-up finishes, and eight Top-10 national rankings. Throughout his career, he has coached four National Players of the Year, 39 All-Americans, more than 150 NCAA Division I student-athletes, and 25 future NFL players. During five seasons at IMG Academy (Fla.), Wright compiled a 44-2 record, leading the Ascenders to three consecutive undefeated seasons (2015-17) and five straight Top-6 national rankings. Eleven IMG alumni have been selected in the past four NFL Drafts, including a first-round selection in each of four consecutive years. At Carmel High School, Wright posted a 54-11 record, guided the Greyhounds to three state championship games, captured the 2011 Class 5A state title, and finished the season ranked No. 4 nationally.
