Carmel Girls XC Wins the Regional for 2nd Straight Year

The Carmel Girls Cross Country TEAM won the 2025 Regional Championship hosted by Brownsburg on Saturday, 10/25/2025. Having their top 4 runners eclipse the 18:00 for 5K, the TEAM more than doubled the 2nd place team of Zionsville to become one of the 5 teams to advance to the state championship on 11/1/25 at LaVern Gibson complex in Terre Haute. Senior, Sadie Foley, lead the Greyhounds with 2nd place finish in the 245 runners field. Her time of 17:19 tied the fastest time in school history for girls cross country. Junior, Annabel Pollert was a strong 3rd place in 17:19. The rest of the scorers for TEAM were Larkin Taylor-Jr. in 17:55, Margo Halle-So. in 17:58, Kaitlyn Oshimura-Sr. in 18:58, Lillana Cate-Sr, 19:02, and Arden Finley-Sr. in 19:38. Cate's performance was a personal best time by :19 and Oshimura ran her fastest time ever at Brownsburg. This was the program's 34th Regional Championship.
