The Greyhounds played the first of three road games to wrap up the regular season tonight at New Palestine. The team took the lead in the first half when senior Curtis Droste made a nice run through the box and hit one one-touch shot off a ball served across from senior Xander Dora to make the score 1-0, and that score remained the same at halftime. The second half saw the Hounds ramp up the pressure, and the team found the back of the net five times. Sophomore Jet Truitt netted three of those goals, while seniors Quinn Wu and Troy Enslin had a goal each. All of the goals were assisted by five different players. Seniors Evan Bardos, Arjun Yadav, and Owen Price all had an assist, while juniors Max Housholder and Andreas Ilizaliturri Pineda tallied the other two. Junior Gray Morgan and sophomore Abdel Elkamesh combined for the shutout. The #5 Greyhounds' record is now 9-1-3. The team returns to action on Tuesday, when they travel to defending state champion and #1-ranked West Lafayette Harrison.
