The Carmel Girls Cross Country TEAM won the Eagle Classic at Brown County State Park by outdistancing 15 other teams. This was the TEAM's 5th consecutive win. The top state ranked Greyhounds were 35 points ahead of 3rd ranked Bloomington South. Leading the TEAM in the field of 148 runners with 2nd and 3rd place finishes respectively were Annabel Pollert-Jr. and Sadie Foley-Sr. Larkin Taylor-Jr.(5th place), Margo Halle-So.(21st place), and Anna Yoon-Jr.(33rd place) were the top 5 scorers for the Hounds. Also, running varsity for the Greyhounds were Elise Maurer-So., Kaitlyn Oshimura-Sr., Ashley Kent-Fr., Maija Gilhooly-Jr., and Maddie Cox-Sr. The TEAM will be at home this Saturday, 9/20/25, when they compete in the Flashrock Invite and Northview Church in Carmel. In the Junior Varsity race, the TEAM won their 5th straight meet and had outstanding races from race winner, Arden Finley-Sr., as well as Ellie Smith-Sr., and Lilliana Cate-Sr. Senior Emma Kistler and Katie Zhuravlev-So, rouned out the team scoring for the Greyhounds.
