Carmel returned to action on Tuesday night in a rematch of last year's State Title game. The score was tied 4-4 at halftime as Sophie Mock converted a free position shot in the dying seconds. The defenses settled in and allowed a combined five goals as both goalies came up with big saves. However, in the fourth quarter, Sophie Mock's 200th career goal secured the victory. Mock scored three times, caused two turnovers, and added two groundballs to the stats sheet. Senior Elle Tomalia added two goals, an assist, two caused turnovers, and a groundball for the Hounds. Senior Breckin Hare and Junior Jackie Mabry each added a goal. Carmel enters Spring Break at 5-1 and returns to action on Saturday, April 12th, when they travel to the Galipault-Wolford Classic at Thomas Worthington High School (Ohio).
