Carmel suffered its first loss of the season on Friday night when it hosted Hinsdale Central (IL). The Hounds held a 5-4 halftime lead, but it was all Red Devils during the third quarter. Hinsdale scored six third-quarter goals to seal the victory. The Hounds were led in scoring by Riley Putnam (Sr), who scored twice; Avery Goehl netted one and added two assists; Breckin Hare and Ellie Espey each had a goal and an assist, and Elle Tomalia added one. Carmel returns to action on March 29th when it travels to Michigan to take on Detroit Country Day.
