On Saturday, 10/26/24, the Carmel Girls Cross Country won the Regional Championship with a convincing score of 26 which easily outdistanced 24 other teams including 2nd place Brebeuf (78 points) and ‘23 Regional Champs, North Central (99 points). The Greyhounds 7 runners all had personal record times including 3 runners who eclipsed r18:00 for the 5K course with outstanding performances. Leading the way for the Greyhounds were Sadie Foley-Jr.(2nd/17:50), Annabele Pollert-So.(3rd/17:51, Larkin Taylor-So.(4th/17:53), Olivia Mundt-Sr.(8th/18:10), Ella Gaddis-Sr.(9th/18:17), Margo Halle-Fr.(13th/18:24) and Katy Dascoli-Sr.(30th/19:09). This was the TEAM’s 8th win of the year. Next up for Carmel XC Greyhounds is the IHSAA State Championship at LaVern Gibson in Terre Haute, IN.
