The Hounds traveled to Lawrence North to play their Regional Semifinal matchup. The Greyhounds took an early lead when senior Tyler Schilt found senior Charlie Pishkur who finished the opportunity. The team doubled their lead later in the first half when senior Chasen Cunningham served a corner kick and junior Curtis Droste made a nice near post run and headed home his opportunity. They took a 2-0 lead into halftime. The Hounds battled all second half with LN launching long ball after long ball into the back line. The Wildcats narrowed the lead to 2-1 with a goal with 5 minutes to play and equaled the score two minutes later. In the game's waning moments, the Hounds hit the crossbar, but the ball did not find the back of the net. At the end of regulation, the score was tied 2-2. During the two seven-minute overtime periods, the Greyhounds created several opportunities but the Wildcats were able to turn them all away. The game went into penalty kicks, where LN connected on two of their kicks, and the Hounds' shots were saved. The team's season comes to an end with a record of 7-8-3 and a fourth consecutive sectional championship. Thank you to the administration for all of your support and thank you to all of the fans who came out all season long.
