The boys' soccer team played the three-time defending state champions Noblesville Millers in the IHSAA sectional championship. After 80 minutes of regulation and two seven-minute extra periods, the game ended knotted at 0-0. Both teams competed at a high level and created entertaining end-to-end action. In the penalty shootout, the Greyhounds connected on all five of their shots, with Seniors Charlie Pishkur, Tyler Schilt, Matthew Schilt, Aidan McLaughlin, and Joe Wrobel converting. Sophomore goalkeepers Gray Morgan and Aidan Gostomelsky combined for the shutout and Gostomelsky saved one of the Nobelsville shots to preserve the victory. The Hounds will return to action in the Regional Semifinal at Lawrence North on Thursday Night. The team's record now stands at 7-7-3.
