Carmel advanced to Saturday's Sectional 9 finals with a 4-0 win versus Lawrence North Thursday evening. The weather was perfect for the 5:30 game played at Zionsville High School's new facility with the temperature in the low 70's and no wind. Olivia Cebalo led the Hounds attack with 2 goals, (18 and 19 or the season) and an assist. Emma Ehret scored off a Cebalo assist while Vaughn Rorhbacher assisted on both of Cebalo's goals. Annie Keleher scored the other Carmel goal. The defense limited LN to 1 shot on goal and goalkeeper Mary Grace Knapp recorded another shutout, her 6th of the year. The Hounds record is now 13-3-2. The girls advance to the sectional finals which will be played on Saturday at 2 pm. The game will match the #3 ranked Greyhounds against the #10 ranked Cathedral Irish.
