In a much anticipated annual tradition, the boys cross country team completed perhaps its best race of the season at the Nike XC Town Twilight race in Terre Haute. The Greyhounds finished seventh of 45 teams in the championship division, fourth among Indiana schools with all of the state's top ranked teams in attendance. Senior Jack Capes continued his midseason ascension with a 40th place finish, 15th among Indiana competitors, in a season's best time of 15:45. Junior Carter Buhr set a lifetime best of 15:55 in 60th place, 25th among those from Indiana. Sophomore Jonah Kaul, junior Deklin Bowser and senior Will Gilhooly rounded out scoring for the 'Hounds.
