The boys' soccer team returned to beautiful Murray Stadium to take on the Golden Eagles of Guerin Catholic on a rescheduled Pack the House/Make Good Decisions/Indiana Lifelines Law game. The game saw action at both ends in the first half, with neither team able to find the back of the net. Shortly after the second half kicked off, junior Owen Price sent a nice corner kick, only to put the Greyhounds up 1-0. Later in the second half, senior Eli Roberts played a lovely ball across the box to sophomore Mikey Kubek, who cooly slotted home his first goal as a varsity player. Sophomore goalkeepers Aidan Gostomelsky and Gray Morgan combined for the shutout on the night. The Hounds return to action tomorrow Tuesday, October 1st at home vs #5 West Lafayette Harrison. The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-5-3 and the team is ranked #18.
