The Greyhounds played their best game of the year but paid a steep price for two mistakes and a go for broke formation change. After carrying much of the first half, Carmel's defense was beaten as Miss Soccer candidate Meredith Tippner scored a nice goal. The girls rallied and found a tying goal on a great Kate Klinginsmith free kick 4 minutes into the second half. Noblesville then came back with what was the winning goal in a goalbox scramble. After a Carmel formation change and Noblesville clock management, the Millers scored the final goal in the waning minutes for a deserved win. In a great wide open attacking game like this, it is very hard to identify the player or players of the game so I will repeat, we played the best we have as a team this season. The squad is now 8-3-2 with a home game versus Plainfield coming up Wednesday at 7. It will be Senior Night at Murray Stadium.
