The Greyhounds played a strong Castle team to a 1-1 draw Saturday. After a slow start which we always seem to have the day after the Homecoming football game, the girls came alive in the second half out shooting the Knights 11-4 and scoring the tying goal. Senior Vaughn Rohrbacher won a ball in the Castle end and played a pass to Junior Emma Ehret. Ehret drew in the defense and then passed to Senior Cameron Love who finished her shot. Although there were several more good chances for Carmel, we just could not find the back of the net. The team record is now 8-2-2. The girls play #2 Noblesville on Monday at the Miller's home field adjacent to White River Elementary School. Game time is 7 PM.
