The boys' soccer team was back on the road tonight at #8 Westfield. The Hounds found an early goal when senior Chasen Cunnigham finished the ball off of an assist from senior Tyler Schilt. Cunningham wasn't done scoring when he finished a one-touch shot off of a beautiful ball served in by junior Owen Price. The Greyhounds took that 2-0 lead into halftime. The second half saw the team continuing to work hard defensively. The Hounds were able to strike again, extending their lead to 3-0 with Owen Price hitting a wonderful strike from distance. Late in the game, the Shamrocks were able to draw a goal back, making the score 3-1. The Hounds locked back in defensively and possessed the ball for extended periods to finish out the game with a 3-1 victory. The team is back home this Saturday, September 21st vs Homestead for a Pink Out game. The team is partnering with Ascension St. Vincent and Jenny's Journey for a cancer screening awareness game. The Greyhound's current record is 3-3-2 and are currently ranked #12.
