JV Blue Wins at Chesterton

CHS girls’ soccer teams traveled to Chesterton on Saturday; JV Blue returned with a win from the long road trip. The hot temps on turf did not seem to be a factor for the Hounds. They started scoring quickly into the first half of the game. Cora Shea first put an unassisted shot in the side of the net. This was followed by two goals from Bethany Cullington. Cullington was assisted by Kathryn Latham on her first goal while the second goal was a hustle play in the box, to finish a ball that had rebounded off the Chesterton defense. Latham and Cullington teamed up again to secure the final Greyhound goal on the afternoon. The Hounds play tonight at Murray Stadium against North Central in our Honor a Teacher Night.
