The boys’ varsity soccer team traveled to Columbus North for an exciting Friday night game under the lights. The Hounds battled hard for all 80 minutes but came out on the losing end, dropping the contest 0-2. The Bulldogs capitalized on a penalty kick and a deflected ball from a corner kick in the first half, while the Hounds hit the crossbar and created several opportunities. The second half saw the Greyhounds control most of the play, creating numerous scoring chances, only to be unlucky to not capitalize on any of the chances. The team returns to action at home for the first time in a month on Tuesday, September 17th to take on North Central for Senior Night. The Hounds current record is 2-3-1 and they are ranked #4.
