Girls Cross Country Wins Hamilton County Championship

The Carmel Girls Cross Country TEAM competed in the Hamilton County Championship meet on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Noblesville at their cross country venue located at White River Elementary school. The TEAM continued its winning ways with a convincing win scoring only 26 points and placing their 5 scorers in 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 9th places. They rounded out their scoring by placing 15th and 17th. This is the 3rd consecutive win in as many meets by the Greyhounds. The TEAM was lead by Sadie Foley (jr.) who won the Hamilton Country Championship in convincing fashion with a time 18:28 over the 5K distance. Earning All-County status and following close by were sophomores Annabel Pollert(3rd) and Larkin Taylor(5th). Freshman, Margo Halle (8th), and seniors, Olivia Mundt(9th), Ella Gaddis(15th), and Katy Dascoli(17th) sealed the win for the TEAM. Next up for the Greyhounds is the Brownsburg Invitational on September 7, 2024.
