The boys' varsity soccer team finally got back to the pitch tonight, after having both games canceled last week due to weather. The team traveled to Brebeuf to take on the Braves. The Hounds struck right after the opening whistle, with senior Tyler Schilt finding senior Chasen Cunningham who scored 30 seconds into the game. Brebeuf was awarded a free kick outside the box and the ensuing free kick found the back of the net to level the score at 1-1 midway through the first half. From that point, the Hounds just couldn't convert on the numerous attacks created. Ath the final whistle, the score was tied 1-1. The Greyhounds record is now 2-0-1 and they are currently ranked #1 in 3A. The team returns to action on Thursday, September 5th when they travel to Fishers and take on the #12 Tigers.
