The Carmel girls Track & Field won a very close Regional Championship at Lafayette Jeff on Tuesday night. In one of the states tooughest Regionals, the Greyhounds came ready to compete. There were only 4pts that separated 1st and 3rd for the team title. Emma Warner was the Regional Champion in high jump. Gaby Grande Rosas had a great night finishing 3rd in the 400m dash, 3rd in long jump and a member of the runner-up 4x400m relay. Emily Norris had a stand out night winning the 200m dash, runner-up in the 100m dash and runner-up in the 4x400m relay. The Hounds will move on to the State Finals, in Bloomington, on May 31st.
