Carmel hosted Detroit Country Day (DCDS) for the First Annual Jack Meachum Memorial Classic in what was a nail biter. Carmel raced out to a 5 goal lead, but DCDS rallied back and took the lead with just over 2 minutes in the contest. Despite a late chance from Carmel DCDS was able to escape 13-12. Sophie Mock led Carmel with 6 goals, 3 assists, 3 draw controls, Breckin Hare had 3 goals, Elle Tomalia and Avery Goehl each added a goal and an assist, and Senior Reese Keetle scored. Carmel returns to action on Tuesday when they host Cathedral in their last regular season contest of the year.
