The boys' soccer team recorded a 4-0 shutout against MIC Conference opponent Warren Central on Senior Night, led by strong contributions from the senior class. Senior Jude Ehman opened the scoring with the game-winning goal, assisted by senior Mikey Kubek for the only goal of the first half. The score remained 1-0 at the intermission. Kubek added the second goal shortly into the second half off an assist from junior Jet Truitt. The Greyhounds continued to build their lead as sophomore Sebastien Shunk set up Truitt for a one-touch finish, making it 3-0. Shunk capped off the scoring himself, placing a free kick through the box and into the back of the net. On defense, senior goalkeeper Gray Morgan held Warren Central scoreless to record the shutout. The Greyhounds close out the regular season at Murray Stadium on Thursday, October 1, hosting Hamilton Southeastern for the annual Cancer Screening Awareness game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
