In the last meet before the start of the IHSAA tournament, the boys cross country team won the Delta Invitational with a score of 24 points. Senior Joel Spittal charged to a second-place finish in 16:20 with sophomore Deklin Bowser fourth in 16:23. Juniors Will Gilhooly (7th in 16:26) and Josh Cale (10th in 16:43) gave the 'Hounds scoring contributions from all four classes. The 'Hounds were even more dominant in the JV race with 18 of the top 20 finishers, including junior Lucas Mallon in a massive lifetime best of 17:11. Sophomore Isaac Perrin was second in 17:20 with classmate Zach Flint third in 17:37. The 'Hounds next compete at the North Central Sectional in a new-look tournament with different host sites and just three rounds.
