The men’s soccer team played their final regular season match on the road versus Hamilton Southeastern. The Hounds hit the crossbar and post numerous times throughout the first half. They finally broke through late in the half on a goal from junior Dawson Droste, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. The second half saw the Hounds hit the crossbar multiple times again, unlucky to not find a second goal. The Royals tied it up late in the game with the final score being 1-1. The Hounds end the regular season with a record of 13-1-2. The next game the Greyhounds play is the first round of sectional Monday, October 2nd vs Westfield. Sectionals will be played at Zionsville. The junior varsity team wrapped up the season with a solid 1-0 win over the Royals. The win puts the team’s season record at an impressive 12-2-2.
