The Carmel Girls Soccer team finished an undefeated regular season with a 1-0 win over Westfield at Murray Stadium Monday evening. In pregame activities, Carmel High School recognized the contributions of this years senior class, Chloe Fouts, Clare Simmonds, Emily Boyer, Rylie Wilpolt, Janie Bartling, Olivia Gardner, Lucy Floyd and Megan Hamm. Also, the school recognized coach Frank Dixon for winning his career 600th game, all won while leading the Greyhounds. The game winning goal came in the 60th minute off an Olivia Joyce cross to Cameron Love who knocked in the ball from short range. Fouts registered her 11th shutout and 13 win of the season. Player of the game was senior Janie Bartling. The team record, heading into next week’s sectionals, is now 13-0-3.
