The Greyhounds entered the final home match of the season against the Irish ready to play. Senior Christian Nielsen netted a hat-trick tonight; scoring twice in the first half and one in the second. Nielsen’s goals were assisted by seniors Connor Dora, Hayden Warneke, and Nick Basso. Seniors Adam Keleher and Jacob Havice recorded the shutout. The win takes the Hounds record to 10-1-1. They are currently ranked #2 and play again Thursday, September 21st at New Palestine. Kickoff for the match will follow the conclusion of the junior varsity game. In JV action tonight, the Hounds pushed their record to 9-1-2 against a tough Irish squad with a well-deserved 1-0 win. Sophomore Owen Price netted the game winner. The Hounds return to action vs New Palestine on Thursday with a scheduled kickoff of 5:30.
