The top ranked men’s soccer team beat Westfield 2-0 on a beautiful evening at Murray Stadium. In the first half, junior Tyler Schilt found the back of the net on an assist from senior Connor Dora. In the second half, junior Johnny Gourley played a beautiful combination ball to senior Jackson Jones who slotted home a solid shot to put the Hounds up 2-0. Senior Adam Keleher recorded the shutout on the evening. The team returns to action tomorrow night September 15, in Ft. Wayne vs Homestead. Kickoff of the varsity game follows the conclusion of the JV game. In JV action, the Greyhounds we’re back to their winning ways, topping the Shamrocks 1-0 on goal scored by sophomore Xander Dora. The team is back to action tomorrow with a 6:15 kickoff.
