The top ranked men’s soccer team lost their first game of the season on the road at North Central. The Panthers found the back of the net in the first half and put up a defensive stalwart the rest of the game. The Greyhounds were unlucky to not find the back of the net, hitting the post, crossbar, and accompanied by some very impressive goalkeeping. The loss drops the Hounds record to 7-1-1 on the season. They return to action this Thursday, September 14 at home vs Westfield for Cancer Awareness Night with Ascension St. Vincent. Kickoff for the game will follow the conclusion of the junior varsity contest. In JV action, the Greyhounds dropped their first game of the season in a 2-0 loss.
