Stitle and O’Leary exploded for seven combined goals, while McCord, Warren, Chapa, Bardwell and Shrift kept the onslaught going. Coulter orchestrated the attack with seven slick assists, and the defense was suffocating—Fedorcha, Ferrettie, Anderson and Quigley combined for eight caused turnovers. Ferrettie battled for four gritty ground balls to help Bates in net, Odle and Anderson added five more, and Chapa and Recktenwall chipped in six face-off wins to fuel the pace.
