Carmel Girls Track & Field continued its championship run Saturday, scoring 63.5 points to capture the Hoosier State Relays Large School title for the fourth consecutive year. Competing against one of the state’s strongest fields, the Greyhounds delivered a complete team performance with points across the distance events, relays, and field events. The day featured three new Carmel indoor school records. In the 3200-meter run, Annabel Pollert placed second in 10:28.63, setting a new indoor school record. Carmel also received strong efforts in the event from Maddie Cox, who ran 11:19.29, and Margo Halle, who finished in 11:29.56. Pollert later returned to help the 4x800-meter relay team of Pollert, Sadie Foley, Kaitlyn Oshimura, and Larkin Taylor win in a meet-record 9:01.92, which also established a new Carmel indoor school record. Carmel added its third indoor school record in the distance medley relay, where Larkin Taylor, Gabriela Grande Rosas, Kaitlyn Oshimura, and Sadie Foley placed second in 11:56.95. Carmel also scored in the sprints and field events. The Greyhounds placed sixth in the 4x200 relay, where Livi Miller, Kalinda Lee, Jenna Harris, and Gabriela Grande Rosas ran 1:43.83. Carmel added a third-place finish in the 4x400 relay, with Livi Miller, Molly Foley, Sadie Foley, and Gabriela Grande Rosas clocking 3:58.00. In the field events, Livi Miller tied for seventh in the pole vault by clearing 10'9", while Amyla Holder contributed in the shot put with a mark of 35'11.5".
