#1 Men's Soccer Beats Lawrence North

The top ranked Greyhounds returned to action for Senior Night with a 5-0 win versus Lawrence North. The game ended up being cut short due to severe weather. The Hounds scored quickly, with Senior Nick Basso capitalizing on a turnover a minute and a half into the game. Senior Christian Nielsen recorded a brace on the night, while juniors Johnny Gourley and Dawson Droste added a goal each. Seniors Hayden Warneke, Jake Flager, Jackson Jones, and Luke Domke all tallied an assist respectively. Senior goalkeepers Adam Keleher and Jacob Havice combined to record the shutout for the night. The Hounds next game is Friday, September 8th at home vs #7 Columbus North for the annual Pack the House/Make Good Decisions/Indiana Lifelines Law game. The kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm. In JV action this evening, the Greyhounds drew with the Wildcats. After going down in the first half, they came out in the second half, netting a quick goal and came close on other occasions. They return to action on Friday, September 8th with a 6:00pm kickoff.
