Lady Greyhounds win first Zionsville tourney game 5-0

The #2 ranked CHS girls soccer team defeated Archbishop Hoban (OH) 5-0 at Murray Stadium in their first Zionsville Lady Eagles Invitational game. The tournament is known for bringing together some of the best high school girls soccer teams in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Carmel was out of the gate quickly with goals in the 11th and 12th minutes of the game. Adalyn Cameron scored of a through ball from Megan Hamm and Olivia Cebalo scored an unassisted goal about one minute later. The second half started with another unassisted Cebalo goal at 43:15. She then assisted Hamm at 52:53. Addie Smith put goal #5 in the books on a ball from Rylie Wilpolt with 4:41 left in the game. The girls play Maxpreps nationally ranked #6 Notre Dame Academy on Saturday at ZHS’ new soccer complex. Game time is 3:00 pm. The team is 7-0-1 having played half of its 16 game season
