The Greyhounds won a hard fought game versus 2A #6 Guerin Catholic 3-2 at Murray Stadium Friday evening. Carmel jumped to a quick 2-0 lead with a Adalyn Cameron PK followed by a run of play Cameron goal from a great Megan Hamm through ball. Guerin answered with a late first half goal and an early second half goal. Both goals were against the run of play. Cameron provided the winning goal, again off a well placed through ball from Hamm, with 29 minutes left in the second half. Several nice Guerin saves later, Carmel had the win. The team is now 3-0-1 only 7 days into the season. The next game is at home versus Pendleton Heights on Wednesday, August 23.
