It was a tale of two halves in a well played game by the two top ranked teams in the state. Noblesville took a 0-2 lead into halftime. After a few halftime adjustments, the Greyhounds found some momentum in the attacking third, netting two goals to bring the score level. Senior Hayden Warneke scored the first goal and junior Dawson Droste scored the second with 1:29 seconds remaining in the game. Senior Christian Nielsen and junior Ryan Barrett recorded an assist each. The #1 Hounds return to action next Tuesday, August 22nd vs Greenfield-Central with a kickoff following the completion of the JV game. In the JV game, it was a carbon copy of the varsity contest. The Hounds went down 0-2 in the first half making adjustments at halftime, coming out and finding the back of the net twice in the second half to end the game in a 2-2 tie.
