The girls traveled to Lakeville, Indiana Tuesday to play in a battle of ranked teams with #1 Carmel taking on #7 South Bend St. Joseph. Carmel scored the only goal of the first half in the 19th minute when Megan Hamm took a pass from Olivia Cebalo and drove it past the SBSJ keeper. St. Joe came out of their defensive shell in the second half and scored an early goal to tie the game. The goal pushed the Carmel attack into high gear. Adalyn Cameron scored both Carmel’s second half goals with an assist fro Hamm on the first. Carmels record improves to 2-0-1 with the win. Next up is a home game Friday vs Guerin. It will be pack the house night.
